21 Ramzan Juloos Traffic Plan for Karachi – March 22, 2024

The central Youm-e-Ali (RA) juloos is taking place in Karachi today, March 22, 2024 (21st Ramzan), marking the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Ali (RA). Karachi traffic police have implemented a special traffic plan with major road closures and alternative routes to manage the procession.

Youm-e-Ali Juloos Route and Road Closures Today

The main procession began at 1 PM from Nishtar Park and is passing through Numaish, M.A. Jinnah Road, Sea Breeze, Empress Market in Saddar, Saddar Regal, Tibet Centre, and back onto M.A. Jinnah Road. The juloos will conclude at Hussainia Imambargah in Kharadar via Bolton Market.

To accommodate the procession, M.A. Jinnah Road remains closed from Guru Mandir to Tower. Traffic police are actively managing diversions to ensure smooth flow.

Alternative Routes for Commuters Today

  • Nazimabad Traffic: Use Lasbela Chowk and Nishtar Road to reach the Garden area.
  • Liaquatabad Commuters: Take Teen Hatti, Lasbela Chowk, and Central Jail routes.
  • Hasan Square to PP Chowrangi Traffic: Diverted via Kashmir Road to Society Light Signal.
  • Jail Flyover Traffic: Redirected towards Teen Hatti and Nishtar Road.
  • Shahrah-e-Quaideen to Numaish Traffic: Rerouted via Kashmir Road through Society Light Signal.
  • Jamshed Road to Guru Mandir Traffic: Should use Bahadur Yar Jang Road and Soldier Bazaar.
