As of August 1, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has raised the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) by Rs 2.27 per kilogram, setting the new rate at Rs 236.99 per kilogram. This change affects the entire nation, particularly households relying on LPG for cooking and heating. The price of an 11.8 kg domestic cylinder has increased by Rs 26.90, now costing Rs 2,796.56.
This recent hike follows OGRA’s periodic adjustments to align domestic prices with international market rates.
