Kamala Harris Talks Her Opportunity Agenda For Black Men

Since embarking on the presidential campaign trail in July, Vice President Kamala Harris has shared her prospective plans for a plethora of subjects concerning the nation. According to CBS News, the 59-year-old has proposed tax cuts for middle Americans while reportedly promising to raise corporate taxes. Additionally, Harris has promised a child tax credit of $6,000 for parents of newborns and a restored expanded child tax credit for families with children over and under the age of six.

Furthermore, Harris reportedly plans to build more affordable housing units by the end of her first term. To help first-generation home buyers, the VP has also vowed to offer $25,000 in down payment assistance. As for inflation, the 59-year-old reportedly intends to address price-gouging by creating a federal law against it. Similarly, Harris has also reportedly shared her intentions to sign a federal law restoring the right to abortion.

But now, with less than 25 days left until the presidential election, the Vice President is continuing to expand on her prospective policy plans. In an exclusive conversation with The Shade Room’s Justin Carter, VP Harris has unveiled her “Opportunity Agenda For Black Men.”

The agenda includes providing 1 million fully forgivable loans to Black entrepreneurs and others to start businesses, championing educational resources to assist Black men in attaining good-paying jobs in high-demand industries, and launching a National Health Equity Initiative focused on Black Men. Additionally, Harris’ plans include legalizing recreational marijuana and more.
