The Multan Police Department has unveiled a comprehensive security plan for the upcoming Test series between Pakistan and England, set to begin on October 7 at the Multan Cricket Stadium.
In preparation for the event, Chief Police Officer (CPO) Sadiq Dogar announced that more than 5,000 police officers and personnel will be deployed to ensure the safety and smooth operation of the match. The security team will be bolstered by support from the traffic police, elite force, and other security agencies.
To enhance safety measures, a large-scale search operation is being conducted in key areas surrounding the stadium. Special arrangements have also been made for spectators, with parking facilities at Fatima Jinnah Town and a shuttle bus service to transport fans to the stadium.
The first Test match will take place on October 7, followed by the second Test on October 15, both at the Multan Cricket Stadium.
The final match of the series will be held on October 24 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. These measures aim to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
