Bayern Munich is preparing to enter into new contract discussions with Alphonso Davies amid interest from Real Madrid.

Talks regarding a contract extension between Davies and Bayern have been ongoing, particularly after the Canadian attracted interest from Real Madrid earlier this year. His current contract expires in June 2025, and the club has made it clear that if he doesn’t agree to an extension, he will be put up for sale in the upcoming summer transfer window.

However, Bayern’s new manager, Vincent Kompany, is a keen admirer of Davies and is eager to retain him beyond 2025. According to tZ, sporting director Max Eberl has commenced negotiations for a fresh deal with the full-back.
The reported offer includes a salary around €13 million (£11m/$14m) with €4 million (£3m/$4) in bonuses. While Real Madrid has yet to present a formal offer for the 23-year-old, Bayern Munich has reportedly set their asking price at €50 million (£43m/$54m).
