A Brief Recap Of The Pair’s Divorce Thus Far
As The Shade Room previously reported, Abasolo filed for divorce from Lindsay after four years of marriage in December 2023. At the time, it was reported that Abasolo was seeking spousal support from his ex.
In May, Abasolo reportedly doubled down on his request for spousal support while asserting that he wanted Lindsay to cover his legal fees. At the time, Abasolo reportedly alleged that he only earns $1,300 monthly, which is not enough to cover his fixed expenses, per The Shade Room.
A few weeks later, Lindsay reportedly requested a judge to deny Abasolo’s legal fee request, per The Shade Room.
Now, according to TMZ, Lindsay is also calling cap on Abasolo’s assertion that he only earns $1,300 per month. The outlet reports that Lindsay “is saying she has a hard time believing that figure.” Additionally, Lindsay reportedly claims that Abasolo also earns income from social media.
Furthermore, Lindsay has also alleged that Abasolo has refused to move out of their shared Los Angeles home or cover expenses while he’s there.

[But] Hindsight is 20/20, I would have done it [now]… Everybody should have a prenup… You just never know what life is gonna throw at you…”
Last week, Lindsay also shared the advice she received from Tia Mowry amid her split from Abasolo. As The Shade Room previously reported, Mowry filed for divorce from Cory Hardrict in October 2022. Their divorce was finalized In June 2023.
“She said, ‘Don’t look at the past, it will hold you back. Don’t look at the future, it’ll give you anxiety. Every day, stay in the present because every day you make it through and you get stronger,’” Lindsay explained.
