“Chelsea officials and Pochettino to hold crucial transfer meeting today.”
Mauricio Pochettino will today have a meeting with Chelsea’s owners to discuss transfer business this month.
Things have been relatively quiet for Chelsea during the first week of the winter window, with only a couple of loan moves and recalls to report and going on, as well as a potential developing outgoing with Ian Maatsen on the cards.
And Blues boss Pochettino has admitted that he hasn’t even spoken to the owners about bringing in new players yet, but he intends to have a chat with them today.
As cited by Football London, Pochettino said: “At the moment we are not talking about bringing players. I saw Behdad here in the manager’s room with Paul and Laurence. I think tomorrow we are going to have a chat because we will be in the training ground.”
These comments came after Chelsea beat Preston 4-0 in the FA Cup third round at Stamford Bridge last night.
We are pretty sure that Chelsea are likely to do some business this month alongside outgoings, with a striker being the most talked about potential incoming that could happen.
