Here’s What Drake Wrote After Deleting The Kendrick Lamar Diss

According to HipHopDx, the ‘6 God’ rapper “quietly removed” the promotional post for his diss track ‘The Heart Part 6,’ which was released against Lamar, from his Instagram feed on Wednesday, June 5. The outlet also notes that separate promotions for his diss tracks, ‘Push Ups’ and ‘Family Matters,’ appear to have also been deleted from Drizzy’s feed.

A screenshot of the rapper’s Instagram page was recently captured by a user on X, formerly known as Twitter, @nfr_podcast. The screenshot shows that Drake’s previous Instagram feed indeed featured the ‘Family Matters’ post.

However, if Instagram users now head over to Drizzy’s feed, they’ll immediately notice the post’s absence. Instead, in its place, Drizzy has shared two additional posts. One featured a carousel of what appears to be recent photos of the rapper.

Additionally, the carousel features a brief message from Drake.

“The only yes man around me is my Rolex dealer,” the ‘Energy’ rapper writes.

According to the outlet, Drizzy’s caption appears to be a cryptic response to Kendrick Lamar’s recent claims against him and his OVO crew. As The Shade Room previously reported, amid their back-and-forth of diss tracks, Lamar accused Drizzy’s team of not being as solid as the rapper believes they are.

“If you were street smart, then you woulda caught that your entourage is only to hustle you / A hunnid n****s that you got on salary, and twenty of ’em want you as a casualty / And one of them is actually, next to you / And two of them is practically tied to your lifestyle, just don’t got the audacity to tell you…” Lamar rapped.

Social Media Shares Thoughts & Reactions

Social media users appeared to catch wind of Drizzy’s subtle Instagram updates. Many shared their thoughts and reactions in the comment section of @nfr_podcast’s X post.

Meanwhile, folks continued to share reactions to all of Drake’s disses toward Lamar now being absent from his Instagram in the comment section of a post shared by @DailyRapFacts on X.

Drake Also Sparked Reactions With Another Recently Released Song

Drizzy may possibly be reneging on his disses toward Lamar, or he could be intent on moving forward from the pair’s rap spar.

As The Shade Room previously reported, Drizzy redirected his efforts — and the public’s attention — from the beef when his vocals were featured on Snowd4y’s ‘Wah Gwan Delilah’ track released earlier this week.

To note, the song covers the Plain White T’s 2006 single, ‘Hey There Delilah.’ However, it adds a Caribbean twist between Snowd4y and Drizzy’s apparent bars.

On Wednesday, June 5, the Plain White T’s reacted to ‘Wah Gwan Delilah’ via a video shared on Instagram. The caption of the post notes that the group was “too stunned to speak” as they took their first listen.

The group’s lead singer, Tom Higgenson, even told his fellow bandmates, “That’s not Drake… It’s crazy that everybody thinks that it’s real.”

According to Variety, Drake or his rep have yet to clarify whether it’s his vocals — or AI generated Drizzy vocals — on the track. However, that hasn’t stopped Instagram users from sharing their beliefs. Many hopped into the comment section of the Plain White T’s post with their thoughts.

Instagram user @carlalbennett wrote, “It’s giving AI for sure”

While Instagram user @waverleydave added, “‘Crazy that everyone thinks it’s real.’ Ughhh who gonna tell him it is real?”

Instagram user @ohnoiblinked wrote, “So yall gave him permission to create… that? 🤣”
