Jason Kelce knows that his wife, Kylie Kelce, was less than thrilled by his recent sex advice.
After Jason, 36, advised a “New Heights” listener’s concerns about experiencing a dry spell in his marriage, Kylie, 32, publicly expressed her disapproval.
“I got some mixed reviews on my relationship advice from the public and from my own wife, Kylie,” Jason quipped during the Wednesday, November 13, episode of his and brother Travis Kelce’s podcast. “Hopefully, I do better this week.”
Jason has also been trying to listen to Kylie more, even sharing his codeword for initiating intimacy and avoiding a potential dry spell.
“Dude, it’s actually a nice little code. I just text her if she wants to watch Jumanji early in the day,” Jason said. “Hey, gotta be playing Jedi mind tricks. … I text Kylie, ‘Did you watch Jumanji today?’ She said, ‘Drier than the Sahara Desert’ and I was like, ‘That movie takes place in the rainforest.’”
Jason and Kylie, who share three daughters, have been married since 2018 after meeting on dating app Tinder.
“I found out years later that he thought there was evidence in his profile that he played for the [Philadelphia] Eagles and he said, ‘Well, there was a picture of a TV screen’ on a game, I guess when he was injured, that was part of his profile,” Kylie previously recalled on a September 2023 episode of the “New Heights” podcast. “It was cropped to fit Tinder, so the only thing you could see was his face, so you couldn’t see the lower thirds, the ticker … [or] the Eagles emblem on his shirt!”
She added, “His profile at the time was, something to the effect of, ‘I want to have deep meaningful conversations and talk about getting married and having kids,’ jokes on him. Who got the last laugh?”
Jason and Kylie had their first date at a local bar, in which the retired Eagles center fell asleep approximately 40 minutes into the meeting. It then fell to then-teammate Beau Allen to “fireman-carry” Jason home. He was able to redeem himself on a second date.
After Jason and Kylie tied the knot and expanded their family, a listener asked him on an October episode of “New Heights” what to do if his wife wasn’t interested in sexual activities.
“Start setting that thing up early,” Jason said. “They don’t just always want to have sex. I don’t know why, they don’t operate on the same wavelength as us. … Women like to be sought after.”
Jason further joked that sometimes women “just want to see the goods.”
Kylie, meanwhile, jokingly denounced her husband’s “dumbass” suggestions.
“If I had to guess, based on my husband’s dumbass response to this question, I would say that he’s probably gonna experience a spell of his wife saying that she’s not interested,” she quipped in a November 1 TikTok video.
