Punjab Schools Winter Vacation to Begin Tomorrow December 23, 2024

The Punjab Education Department has revised the winter vacation schedule for schools, announcing that holidays will now begin on December 23, 2024, instead of the previously planned start date of December 20. Schools will remain closed until January 13, 2025, marking a shift from the earlier break, which was scheduled to last from December 20 to January 10.

This change has been confirmed by the Punjab Education Department to provide students with a more extended winter break. Parents and students are encouraged to mark the updated dates on their calendars to ensure proper planning for the winter holidays.

Winter Holidays in Sindh and Balochistan

In Sindh, both public and private schools will observe winter holidays from December 21 to December 31, 2024, giving students a short yet restful break before the new year.

Meanwhile, in Balochistan, the winter holidays began earlier on December 16 due to the harsh cold weather conditions. Schools, colleges, and universities in 20 districts, including Quetta, will remain closed until February 28, 2025. However, areas with milder weather will have winter holidays from January 1 to January 10, 2025.
