The Security Forces killed thirty terrorists (khwarij) in three intelligence based operations (IBOs) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Lakki Marwat, during which 18 terrorists (khwarij) were killed and 6 injured.
ISPR stated that security forces killed 8 terrorists (khwarij) during an intelligence-based operation in the Karak district.
In another incident, ISPR stated that security forces killed terrorist leader Aziz-ur-Rehman, also known as Qari Ismail, and terrorist Mukhlis, along with two other terrorists (khwarij), while two were injured.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), a cache of weapons, ammunition and explosives was also recovered during the operation.
“Sanitization operation is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area as the security forces are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country,” ISPR said.
