Kyle Richards believes Dorit Kemsley and Paul “PK” Kemsley’s marriage is “done.”

During the Tuesday, February 18, episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show, Kyle, 56, spoke her mind about the estranged couple who announced in May 2024 that they were separating after nine years of marriage.

“I think that they really are done,” Kyle began. “This [Dorit] does not seem like somebody who’s home crying about wanting to be back with their husband so I think that she seems very strong and solid in this decision even if it was PK who was prompting it. I just don’t … I don’t see them back together now.”

Dorit, 48, and PK, 57, released a joint social media statement last year that detailed their decision to spend time apart. “We have had our struggles over the last few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children together,” they wrote via Instagram, referencing son Jagger, 11, and daughter Phoenix, 8. “To safeguard our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children we have made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship while we prioritize our children.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards is weighing in on costar Dorit Kemsley’s marriage to PK Kemsley. During a Wednesday, February 21, appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Kyle, 55, was asked whether she thinks the pair’s marriage will survive. “I know that they’re in a good place now […]

While Kyle and Dorit both said recently that they’re rebuilding their friendship following Kyle controversially sharing text exchanges with PK during his separation from Dorit, Kyle did not hold back on sharing her frank thoughts on the couple.

“I guess it surprises me because I always saw them as a couple that were codependent on each other really and loved each other so much,” Kyle told the cameras during the After Show, which followed Tuesday night’s episode of RHOBH.

She then compared Dorit and PK’s separation with her own. (Kyle and estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, confirmed that they were separating in October 2023 after 27 years of marriage.) “It’s also making me think, wow, Mau and I are so far behind, just a completely different separation going on here,” Kyle said.

The After Show also delved into Dorit’s current headspace, with cameras capturing her thoughts with fellow Housewife Bozoma Saint John. Interestingly, Dorit indicated that she isn’t ready to call time on her marriage altogether. “I don’t feel like I’ve reached a place where I know PK’s not in my future,” Dorit explained. “At the same time, if he turned around to me tomorrow and said, ‘Dorit, I’ve made a terrible mistake, I want to come back home, let’s have a go at this, we belong together,’ I don’t think I could accept that. I know I couldn’t.”

Other RHOBH stars also provided their own thoughts on the estranged marriage, with Garcelle Beauvais admitting to Sutton Stracke and Jennifer Tilly that she can’t see a future that unites Dorit and PK.

“I don’t get the feeling that PK and Dorit are going to get back together,” Garcelle, 58, told her friends. “It’s a shame because of the kids, but I don’t get that feeling … [however] with Mau and Kyle, there’s sort of a grey area.”

Jennifer, 66, was even more frank in her assessment of Dorit and PK. “I feel the PK-Dorit marriage was over before it was over,” she told the cameras.

Meanwhile, Sutton, 53, said it would be hard for Dorit to come back from calling PK an alcoholic in front of her cast members. “It’s so mean and I don’t even like PK and I was like, ‘PK, call me, I will stick up for you.’ Truly, it was the meanest thing I’ve ever seen anybody do to anyone on this show. I didn’t like it,” Sutton explained.

Eventually, Dorit was filmed admitting that she is unsure if she and PK will ever resolve their issues the way they initially intended to. “I feel that I have come a long way since the beginning, I really do,” Dorit said. “I feel like things are getting clearer and clearer and clearer. We’re kind of going through things, finding our feet in how to navigate a separation publicly, raising and coparenting our children, so we haven’t gone into that place where we’re actually doing the work and I don’t know if we ever will.”
